Install childproof latches to drawers or cabinets that may contain:

	breakable or sharp items
	cleaning compounds
	medicines
	dangerous foods (choking items like peanuts or hot peppers).

Plastic bags are a common source of danger.

	Keep plastic bags out of children’s reach.
	Tie a knot in the middle of used bags or cut into pieces to prevent choking or suffocation

Always store cleaning products up high or in locked cabinets out of children’s reach.
